Sector 9 Downhill Division 2012

Posted on Thursday 3 May 2012

It's official, the new downhill division is out! Featuring the Tiffany (Scoot's pro model), an updated Lacey, the Daisy, a new addition, an updated Brandy, another new model; the Natasha and  the updated Roxanne.

The Lacey is still 38" long and 10.25" wide. The wheelbase has been kept the same at 30.6 and 31.6. The only difference is the shape, the front looks to be a lot wider for easier foot placement when shredding downhill.

The Daisy, a new addition for 2012. It's 38.5" long and 9.75" wide. With wheelbases from 26.5-28.25 it looks to be quite versatile in terms of riding style. When mounted on the shorter wheelbase it looks to grow a nice tail for manuals etc.

The Brandy is now half an inch longer and also slightly narrower for more responsiveness. Once again the wheelbases on this thing are mad. They go from 25.5" - 30.5". This way you get the best of both worlds, whether you want to freeride or bomb hills.

Another new deck, The Natasha, the only drop through board in the new range. It comes in at 40" long and 9.75" wide with a 30.5 " wheelbase. Nice CNC drop through mounting will keep your board running low, coupled with the huge wheel cutouts, wheelbite will not be a problem.

And last but not least the updated Roxanne. Formally the longest board in the line up, she has been shortened to 37.5" and is now 10.5" wide. Wheelbases's are now at 26.75"-29.5" rather than the old 30.75" and 31.75". So this thing is going to be extremely nimble on the corners. It seems Sector 9 have really upped their game and are keeping up to date with the worldwide skate communities tastes.
