The chaps at skatePHX have a banger of a 2013 recap video in the works, in the meantime watch this trailer...

The guys over at Rad Train met up with Aj Haiby and Troy Yardwaste for some runs on the new Sector 9 traction wheels.

I was lucky enough to spend a month away skateboarding in Europe this summer. I visited three events over the month I was away, firstly Almabtrieb in Germany, then Kozakov in the Czech Republic and finally the KNK freeride in Slovenia. Episode one covers our journey to Almabtrieb and the event itself, lots of fast skating and partying. Enjoy!

I was lucky enough to travel Europe for a month following the race tour and freeride events. With huge amounts of footage filmed and now sorted, the editing process has begun! In the meantime check out this teaser while you wait for the full edit coming soon!

The Vandem freeride ran for its second time at the beginning of the month. Once again the event ran super smoothly with constant uplifts and a mad party. Currently the biggest event in the UK it really showcases and brings together skaters from all over the country. Enjoy this edit from the guys at New Fruit Productions!

Landyachtz team riders Elena Corgill and Riley Harris are joined by aussie Adam Yates in a long due welcome video! Elena and Riley have both been killing it on the race scene this year and are representing Landyachtz out of Calgary, Alberta.

Tyler Howell's first official Arbor video on his home hills in Santa Barbara, combine this with some Johnny Cash and you get a banger! Tyler also rides for These wheels.

Another addition to the Blood Orange family, this time double kick shredder JM Duran. JM also rides for 'These' wheels!

The chubby unicorn's little brother is shaping up to look like another versatile shred sled! Peep the video!

Omen have released their latest deck the 'Barfight' recently and the accompanying video is a banger!

The barfight is simple shaped looking topmount. Rocking in at 37" long and 9.5" wide with wheelbases ranging from 22.5 all the way to 26.5". Covering all bases for a wide range of skating styles, something that is becoming more and more popular in the industry these days. The barfight's standing platform looks to run a simple radial concave in the centre with 3d flares in the corners of the platform.

The Volante crew recently took a spring trip up to some mountainous roads. Skating from; Aaron Grulich, Eric Jensenm Nick Ronzani, Brandon Tissen and Dave Tannaci. The beautiful film and editing work is thanks to Blake Smith and Chubbs, definitely worth a watch, enjoy!!

One of Canada's biggest DH events, the Britannia Classic, happened last weekend. With wet and dry weather over the course of the weekend.

K - Rimes bringing it home with first place, Andrew Chapman in second and Adam Persson in third!

It's always cool to see downhill skating making it into other genres of media. Especially Kevin being the skater he is. The video talks about the interest in his Skyline and his skating, and the link they share. 

The 2013 Newtons Nation is about to kick off! Another live stream this year, allowing us not so lucky to be there to keep up with the action! The stream is going live on the 3rd of May.

The highly anticipated event 'Downhill Disco' run by Muir Skate has returned for another year. With bigger ramps, airs and more skaters the event shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Above and below are coverage from Wheelbase Mag and Sector 9, both worth the watch!
