Back with the goods Caliber/Volante

Posted on Monday, 10 December 2012

Havent been keeping the blog updated recently, been having too much fun on four wheels. But while the last couple of weeks have passed, a ton of new stuff has been popping up just in time for christmas.

Firstly, the guys over at Comet/Caliber/Volante have been hard at work:

The caliber precision's have officially dropped!

They come in a 44 degree plate currently the usual 184mm hanger width. But, you must be wondering, aren't I just paying for a CNC caliber with no changes?  Well you would be wrong. There have been several changes and additions.

1. The pivot cups hav been replaced and now feature 95a riot cups.
2. The bushing seat and kingpin have been re-worked and now allows for more lean and less restriction from the bushing.
3. And lastly when you purchase a set of these badboys, they don't come with just 1 set of bushings, or two for that matter. No, they come with an extra 4 sets of blood orange bushings (Not including the limited edition 89a black bushings in the trucks already.)

Secondly, the new Liam Morgan pro model wheels are now available from Volante:

They come in with a 70mm diameter, a 46mm contact patch with a 1mm offset core. The urethane is slightly softer than the normal 82a Volante, this time they went for 80a for a little more control when going fast.

Be back soon, enjoy and stay stoked!
