Arbor 2013 Lineup!

Posted on Thursday, 14 March 2013

Arbor have just dropped their 2013 line, with a ton of updates and additions its a definite force to be reckoned with!

The first two additions to the downhill, or newly named 'Icon Downhill' collection are the Highground and the Backlash alongside an updated Vugenhausen. The whole range also feature a "sustainable Koa Veneer Basesheet" giving a nice natural looking finish and hopefully adding some rigidity.

"The Highground is a tapered topmount that was designed to be a force on the racecourse; a speedboard that features a range of wheelbase positions, unique concave shaping techniques, and carefully placed flares that create stops, provide leverage points, and keep you locked in." - Arbor

The first directional top mount from Arbor coming in at 36" long and 10" wide and running a 29" wheelbase. It looks to have some adjustability from the image provided by Arbor, updates to follow on the board details as soon as they surface!

"The new Backlash is a downhill design that features a truly functional kicktail. The design also utilizes a 24” rockered platform, partially flush-mounted trucks to maintain turning angle while providing superior slide control, and a three-inch nose. No limits - bomb, flip, slide - whatever." - Arbor

Arbor's resident do-it-all shred sled, the Backlash. Rocking a 24" wheelbase, it is capable of handling every terrain and riding style. It looks to have a nice meaty tail and a good sized standing platform for the faster riding, AFB has been shredding it in his latest video from Blood Orange:

And lastly the shakedown series has received a complete shape and size update. The three decks now have a 'squarer' tail/nose shape and are running slightly wider throughout. I'm really digging the new shape and style of the shakedown series, Arbor have really upped their game this time round. Watch this space!
